Dream Achievers

My Dreams

It’s amazing to me how few people dream these days. Just stating clearly ones’ specific wants can be very hard. We’re out of practice!

Whatever service you’re thinking of approaching me about, I’ll ask you to tell me your dreams- what do you want out of life. I believe that when you are clear with yourself about what you want, you have a much better chance of achieving it. Personally I’ve found that writing out a list of what I want helps me enormously and even more so –if you’re willing to try it- reading that list out loud every day.

Another place to start is with a challenge: Try writing out a list of 50 things you want to see, experience or become. Then set about doing it!

I find that people who focus on What they want rather than How they want to come by it are vastly more successful at manifesting their desires. Then, try to spend as much time as possible thinking of how you would Feel if your wish came true rather than on all the problems and reasons why it will never happen. Try this for a day then a week, then make it a habit. I’d love to hear about your results.

At the moment I’m working towards my own personal goals for 2010, and two that are more long term goals, that I want to share with you here. Maybe you’ll join me in one of them, or create your own?

Water in Africa

I hope to see all of southern Africa plumbed, and all the people having access to fresh, clean drinking water. There are many groups contributing towards this goal already. Go to my Links page to read more about their projects or to donate your own time or money! Personally I am interested in either gathering my own team to work systematically in areas not yet reached by current groups, or, of collecting money and resources to direct into work already being done.

EcoRetreat

I am dreaming of building a large retreat, entirely environmentally sound as well as self-sustaining and sufficient. It will have wonderfully peaceful and beautiful gardens, individual and family cabins, meeting spaces for yoga, meditation and a range of classes. There will be a fantastic chef cooking with only organic ingredients, mostly from what we’ve produced on site ourselves. People will come to learn from one of the onsite Masters or to practice their own craft or art. I envisage it as providing space and opportunities to relax and to grow.
